About the Role

LSEG is offering an exciting 12-month Graduate Trainee Programme designed for ambitious graduates eager to gain practical experience and build their professional career. As an Operations Assistant, you will actively participate in training, shadow senior staff, attend workshops, and complete competency assessments at the end of the programme.

This role provides exposure to multiple functions, ensuring you develop a well-rounded understanding of operational excellence within a global organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and participate in on-the-job training sessions.

  • Manage administrative documentation and maintain office equipment inventory.

  • Process Purchase Orders (POs), Purchase Request Forms (PRFs), and vendor setups in Ariba.

  • Handle invoice processing via OpenText and track payment status.

  • Prepare reports, deliver presentations, and maintain learning logs.

  • Support managers with research, administrative tasks, and office projects.

  • Participate in workshops, meetings, and team-building activities.

  • Evaluate systems and suggest process improvements.

  • Assist with equipment handover for new starters and retrieval for departing staff.

  • Uphold professionalism and integrity while representing company values.

  • Complete evaluations and assessments at the end of the programme.


What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or equivalent qualification.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet.

  • Research skills and a willingness to learn beyond your discipline.

  • Positive mindset with a drive for growth and innovation.
