About the role

We’re searching for a skilled, passionate Back-End Software Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments. You should be ready to innovate, solve complex engineering challenges, and contribute to building seamless, robust, and scalable gaming systems that reach millions of users.

You will help build and maintain the backbone of DigiOutsource’s technology stack. Using the .NET (C#) ecosystem, you will design and develop high-performance back-end systems, contribute to integrations, maintain system reliability, and ensure outstanding customer experiences.

Your engineering expertise will directly influence system stability, performance, and future innovation in the online gaming landscape.

Responsibilities

Engineering

Build, enhance, maintain, and deploy software aligned with internal engineering standards.
Write comprehensive unit tests across all software components.
Support and expand existing systems while contributing to new platform development.
Collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Provide second-line support on production issues and assist in complex troubleshooting.
Monitor system performance to ensure SLAs and service reliability are consistently met.

Documentation

Maintain detailed documentation on system architecture, workflows, integrations, and processes.
Ensure knowledge sharing through clear internal records for future development cycles.

Essential Skills & Experience

3 to 5 years’ experience across the full software development life cycle.
Strong object-oriented programming foundation, preferably with C# and .NET.
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
Proficiency in relational databases such as SQL Server.
Experience with Docker or containerization environments.
Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability.
Ability to estimate work accurately and manage delivery timelines.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in fast-changing environments.

Desirable Skills

Experience in the casino or online gaming industry.
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools.
Familiarity with MongoDB, distributed systems, and in-memory datastores such as Redis.
Experience with messaging tools such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Exposure to Agile environments.
Understanding of security standards and principles.
Basic experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
Degree or diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
