๐งญ JOB OVERVIEW
The Functional HR Manager โ Audit plays a strategic and operational role in supporting the Audit business unit. Acting as a trusted HR business partner, this role bridges the gap between business leadership and HR Centres of Excellence. You will deliver tailored HR solutions aligned to business strategy, support leaders with people management, drive transformation initiatives, and ensure a consistent and high-quality employee experience.
๐งฉ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with Audit leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives

Translate business strategy into effective people and talent solutions

Deliver priority HR projects aligned to organisational goals

Provide end-to-end HR support including:

Talent acquisition and workforce planning
-
Performance management and development
-
Learning and development coordination
-
Succession planning and mobility
-
Organisational effectiveness initiatives
-
Reward and recognition practices
-

Serve as custodian of HR and L&D policies and ensure compliance
-
Support employee relations and promote colleague wellbeing
-
Drive adherence to HR governance, deadlines, and quality standards
-
Analyse people data to proactively address workforce needs
-
Support and advance the firmโs transformation and inclusion strategy

Ensure a consistent, positive people experience across the Audit function
๐ QUALIFICATIONS
Education
-
Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Social Sciences, or Management (or currently studying towards one)
Experience
-
Minimum 5 yearsโ HR generalist experience
-
At least 2 yearsโ experience in an HR management role
-
Proven experience in HR strategy enablement and business partnering
Skills

Strategic thinking and analytical capability

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
-
Budgeting and financial acumen
-
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
-
Transformational and people-centred leadership
-
High level of confidentiality and integrity

Strong understanding of labour legislation and skills regulatory frameworks (B-BBEE, Skills Development, etc.)

Tech-savvy with solid computer literacy
Professional registrations (SABPP, IPD, HPCSA, ACMP, FASSET) are advantageous.
