Job Overview

The Software Lecturer will be responsible for delivering Information Technology modules, supporting students academically, and contributing to departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lecture modules such as:
    • Procedural Programming
    • Programming in Java
    • Data Structures and Algorithms (Java)
  • Prepare and deliver lectures and study materials
  • Set and mark assessments and examinations
  • Provide academic support to students, including at-risk learners
  • Perform administrative and departmental duties
  • Ensure quality assurance standards are met
  • Participate in academic development and faculty initiatives

Qualifications

  • BSc Honours or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

  • 1–2 years lecturing experience (or relevant experience)
