Job Overview

The Intermediate Analytics Engineer will support the development of data pipelines and analytics products that enable data-driven insights across the organisation.

Working alongside senior engineers, data scientists, and analysts, you will build scalable data solutions, improve data quality, and contribute to modern DataOps and cloud-based data platforms.

This role is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about data engineering, analytics, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Build scalable and reliable data products in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver analytics solutions.
• Implement monitoring, testing, and automation for data pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and data definitions.
• Contribute to DataOps practices and reusable engineering components.
• Support data modelling and analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

• Degree or Diploma in:
  • Computer Science
  • Software Development
  • Engineering or related field

Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in a data engineering or data-focused role
• Exposure to data platforms, pipelines, and analytics environments
• Experience working in agile teams

Skills

• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, or modern data tools
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Understanding of DataOps and data pipeline concepts
• Knowledge of version control (Git)
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
