Job Overview

The Enrolled Nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with the Scope of Practice. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, maintain accurate medical records, and contribute to a positive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Identify, prevent, and report risks to ensure patient safety
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
• Support a positive patient experience and care environment
• Assist in developing staff competence through a learning environment
• Ensure accurate charging and management of stock and equipment
• Follow all nursing procedures, standards, and healthcare regulations

Qualifications

Education

• Essential: Enrolled Nurse Certificate
• Preferred: CPD courses in specialized nursing areas

Experience

• No minimum experience required
• 1 year post-qualification experience advantageous (especially for specialized units)

Skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) training
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control
• Understanding of pharmacology and nursing principles
• Strong patient assessment and care planning skills
• Knowledge of nursing legislation and procedures
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Risk identification and patient safety awareness
