Job Overview

The Supply Chain Internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both supply chain operations and promotional marketing within a leading e-commerce environment.

In this role, you will support campaign coordination, promotional planning, and performance analysis for TakealotMORE initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, and analytics, gaining valuable experience in both operational and commercial aspects of the business.

This internship is ideal for candidates who are analytical, creative, and interested in supply chain, e-commerce, and marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update promotional calendars for campaigns
Coordinate and manage marketing and supply chain campaigns
Liaise with partner and internal marketing teams
Support development and execution of promotional initiatives
Collaborate with merchandising teams to improve customer conversion
Assist with product feature launches and customer engagement content
Work with social media and brand teams on campaigns and content
Support CRM and performance marketing initiatives
Track and report on campaign performance (daily, weekly, monthly)
Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights
Coordinate communication between internal teams

Qualifications

Education

N6 qualification in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Management Science

Experience

No formal work experience required
Exposure to marketing or supply chain environments is advantageous

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creativity in developing content and campaign ideas
Basic understanding of digital marketing tools (e.g. social media, Google Analytics)
Ability to analyse data and interpret insights
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
