Job Overview

Tracker is seeking a proactive Product Support Agent to provide technical and customer support to clients regarding the functionality and performance of tracking units.

The role involves handling customer queries, resolving product-related issues, and ensuring a high level of service delivery across all communication channels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide telephonic support to existing clients
  • Handle post-installation product queries (TomTom, Empower, Skygistics, Skytrax)
  • Liaise with internal teams, branches, and external stakeholders
  • Capture, update, and maintain customer and vehicle information
  • Manage cancellation requests and communicate with relevant departments
  • Perform general administrative tasks including reporting and investigations
  • Create, allocate, and follow up on service requests
  • Handle customer complaints via phone and email
  • Ensure adherence to telephony schedules and service standards

Qualifications

Education:

  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential)

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year call centre or customer service experience

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of telematics and telecommunications (GSM & satellite)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related tools
  • Familiarity with Tracker systems (TMS, CRM, CDS, Skytrax)
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Customer-focused with attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership and work in a team
