Job Overview
The Department of Statistics and Population Studies at UWC is seeking an Associate Lecturer on a five-year Talent Stewardship contract.
The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate teaching, research activities, academic administration, and continuous professional development within the department.
This role is ideal for an emerging academic with a strong background in Mathematical Statistics and a passion for teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate Statistics modules

Qualifications
Education
- Honours Degree in Mathematical Statistics (required)
- Active enrolment in an MSc in Mathematical Statistics programme (required)
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in tutoring, graduate lecturing, or structured teaching support
- Participation in at least one research activity involving statistical methodologies
