Job Overview
Slash Staffing is looking for a Leasing & Sales Specialist to support the leasing and tenant engagement process for mobile home communities. The role is fully remote and open to candidates based in South Africa.
The successful candidate will guide potential tenants from the first enquiry through to the signed lease agreement. You will also maintain relationships with current tenants, support renewals and help improve occupancy levels.
This is more than an administrative role. The company is looking for someone who is persuasive, proactive and comfortable speaking with people over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond quickly and professionally to incoming calls, texts and online enquiries.
- Build strong relationships with potential tenants and encourage interest in the properties.
- Schedule property viewings and confirm attendance.
- Follow up with prospects before and after property showings.
- Assist applicants through the leasing process and encourage application completion.
- Review rental applications before sending them for approval.
- Keep accurate records of each lead and maintain an organised leasing pipeline.
- Manage and update property listings on Zillow, MH Village, Trulia, HotPads and Facebook Marketplace.
- Ensure listings are accurate, attractive and designed to attract more enquiries.
- Work with property supervisors to coordinate successful property showings.
- Collect and communicate feedback after showings.
- Support lease renewals and maintain relationships with existing tenants.
- Help convert renters into future mobile home owners where possible.
Qualifications
Education
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- A qualification in Sales, Property Management, Real Estate, Business or Marketing will be an advantage.
Experience
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, real estate, sales or customer service is preferred.
- Experience working remotely or with international clients will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with property listing platforms is an advantage.
Skills
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Confident and natural telephone manner.
- Strong sales and persuasion ability.
- Highly organised with excellent follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and conversations at the same time.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building ability.

- Reliable internet connection and availability during U.S. working hours.
