Job Overview

The Legal Services Internship at Road Accident Fund provides graduates with practical exposure to corporate legal services, legal administration, legal research, contract management, and stakeholder engagement processes.

Interns will support the Corporate Legal Services team by assisting with legal documentation, case monitoring, reporting activities, and legal administrative support within a structured professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Research & Advisory Support

  • Conduct legal research on various matters
  • Assist with provision of legal advice and legal support
  • Prepare briefing notes and supporting legal documents

Drafting & Document Management

  • Draft and vet legal documents including contracts, correspondence, and pleadings
  • Assist with preparation of documents for Executive Management approval
  • Maintain legal records and registers accurately

Legal Administration Support

  • Assist with administration of Corporate Legal Services processes
  • Support management of legal practitioner panels
  • Maintain legal documentation and reporting records

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist with judgment monitoring and case outcome reporting
  • Participate in stakeholder engagements and negotiation meetings
  • Support reporting and communication activities within the legal division

Qualifications

Education

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or B Degree in Law

Experience
