Job Overview

Nike is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join its Durban retail team as Part-Time Retail Store Associates, also known as Athletes. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, supporting daily retail operations, and helping customers find products that suit their lifestyle and fitness goals.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment while contributing to a collaborative team culture and ensuring customers enjoy a memorable in-store experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent and authentic customer service
  • Assist customers in selecting suitable Nike products and services
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Nike products, technologies, and promotions
  • Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately
  • Assist with stock receiving, replenishment, and merchandise organisation
  • Support visual merchandising and in-store displays
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the store
  • Participate in store events and promotional activities
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and reliability at all times
  • Ensure customers feel welcomed, valued, and supported throughout their shopping experience

Qualifications

Education

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate required

Experience

  • Previous retail or customer service experience advantageous
  • Experience in sportswear, fashion, or lifestyle retail beneficial
