Job Overview
The Gauteng Department of Environment is inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply for the Environmental Policy, Planning & Coordination Internship Programme for 2026β2028. This internship offers graduates an opportunity to gain practical workplace exposure and professional experience within environmental planning and policy development.
Successful interns will support environmental coordination projects, planning initiatives, policy implementation activities, and departmental programmes while receiving mentorship and structured workplace training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with environmental planning and policy coordination activities
- Support research and data collection for environmental projects
