The Role: Learning Partner
Capitec Bank is looking for a Learning Partner to join our team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. In this exciting role, you will work closely with various business units to ensure that learning and development initiatives are aligned with our client’s people plan. You will have the opportunity to partner with the Strategic People Partner to foster a learning culture and drive strategic HR initiatives that impact business success.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with Business Units: Consult and collaborate with key stakeholders, particularly senior management, to identify learning and development needs.
- Promote Learning Culture: Drive the implementation of strategic learning initiatives and promote team cohesion within the business.
- Learning Needs Assessment: Conduct performance analysis to assess work, worker, and workplace needs, and design learning solutions accordingly.
- Design & Deliver Learning Programs: Develop and deliver learning initiatives tailored to meet the specific needs of the business unit.
- Collaboration & Oversight: Work closely with Learning Delivery teams to ensure high-quality design and facilitation of training programs.
- Utilize Data Analytics: Use learning metrics and data analytics to identify skills gaps and proactively design solutions to address them.
- Evaluate Effectiveness: Regularly assess the success of learning initiatives to ensure they meet objectives and deliver measurable results.
What You Will Bring:
- Educational Requirements: A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Education.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in Learning and Development or similar fields, with a strong understanding of HR business acumen.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience engaging with senior management and executives.
- Expertise: Proven capability across the L&D value chain, including design, development, and delivery of learning programs.
- Consulting Skills: Experience in business partnering and consulting in learning and development settings.
Ideal Additional Skills:
- Consulting Processes: Strong understanding of consulting principles and practices.
- Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and change management practices.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other L&D tools.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills.
