Responsibilities
- Account Planning: Develop and oversee the execution of account plans for multiple accounts to ensure high-volume sales for both Microsoft and the customer.
- Customer Engagement: Understand customer drivers of digital transformation and engage internal teams to accelerate the customer’s digital transformation strategy.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships using Microsoft sales strategies across multiple levels of the customer’s organization.
- Product Knowledge: Leverage knowledge of Microsoft’s product landscape, solutions, and strategy to address customer needs.
- Customer Feedback: Seek feedback from customers to understand satisfaction drivers and establish action plans for improvement.
- Team Coordination: Orchestrate extended virtual teams and key stakeholders to engage decision-makers of assigned accounts.
- Solution Presentation: Share and recommend Microsoft solutions, develop value-proposition presentations, and create specialized business plans.
- Strategy Development: Develop strategies to secure buy-in and execution of plans, identifying new opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Industry Data Collection: Coordinate with internal industry experts to gather industry data and improve planning.
Qualifications
Required:
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Business Operations, Business Administration, or related field within the last 6 months.
- Strong desire and business acumen for consultative solution selling.
- Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Legal authorization to work in South Africa (citizenship, valid visa, or work permit).
