🎯 Key Purpose

As an In-Service Trainee, you will: ✔ Support syrup production by preparing final syrup for supply to production lines
✔ Ensure adherence to Coca-Cola’s global quality standards (KORE)
✔ Conduct quality checks and validation processes
✔ Contribute to automation troubleshooting and process optimization initiatives
✔ Participate in process control and improvement projects

🧪 Key Duties & Responsibilities

🔍 Specialist Analysis

• ✅ Prepare and manage syrups for production

• ✅ Use SAP systems for governance

• ✅ Conduct process validation and quality tests

• ✅ Record and analyze results for continuous improvement

🔍 Quality Auditing

• ✅ Perform audits and calibrate lab equipment

• ✅ Support training needs and procedure improvements

• ✅ Communicate and implement audit results

🛠 Problem Solving & Support

• ✅ Assist production teams with problem-solving

• ✅ Contribute to root cause analysis and knowledge sharing

• ✅ Help document and integrate process improvements

📚 Training & Development

• ✅ Identify skills gaps

• ✅ Support training of quality analysis

• ✅ Create and update relevant training materials

♻ Continuous Improvement

• ✅ Evaluate and contribute to process optimization

• ✅ Participate in improvement evaluations at regional and divisional levels

🎓 Minimum Requirements

📘 Education & Qualifications:

• ✅ Grade 12 with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)

• ✅ Currently pursuing a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering

• ✅ 2 South African languages passed at minimum 40%

🧾 Additional Requirements:

• ✅ South African Citizen

• ✅ Employment Equity candidate

• ✅ Aged between 18–35 years

• ✅ Letter from tertiary institution confirming in-service training requirement

• ✅ Unemployed at time of application

• ❗ Must not have completed in-service training elsewhere

• 📦 Stock control of raw materials

• 🔎 Strong analytical and decision-making ability

• 🗃 Data archiving skills
