Warehouse Learner – Your Future Role

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Learner for our Tulisa Park site in South Africa. As a Warehouse Learner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of raw materials and finished products across our manufacturing areas. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining the flow of stock and contributing to the efficiency of operations under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

🔄 Stock Movement:
• Move stock from the warehouse to production and vice versa.
• Facilitate the movement of stock into the factory to enable operators to start compounding.
• Replenish fixed bins materials and verify stock daily.

📦 Material Handling:
• Handle overages and blend stocks in LSI into fixed bins.
• Pump alcohol and other materials into farm tanks.
• Prepare samples for various departments like FC&A and planning.

🔍 Inventory Control:
• Perform stock verification and adjust shortages with the help of the Team Leader.
• Assist with inventory cycle counting in both the warehouse and factory.
• Investigate deviations, compile reports, and resolve discrepancies.

⚙️ Warehouse Operations:
• Safely operate a forklift, drum handling equipment, and pedestrian stacker.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, conducting 5S activities.
• Participate in LEAN activities to improve workplace efficiency.

🚨 Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to food safety (HACCP), quality, and environmental health and safety standards.
• Report incidents and “close shaves” promptly.
• Comply with allergen management programs and other safety protocols.

Your Profile

• Education: Grade 12 / Matric
• Experience: Forklift operation experience is an advantage
• Skills:
✔ Computer literate
✔ Self-starter with the ability to work independently
✔ Results-driven and proactive
