🛠️ Role Responsibilities

As a Finishing Operator, you will ensure customer satisfaction by meeting quality and service standards through precise slitting, rewinding, and final quality control processes.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Operating slitting and rewinding machines efficiently.
Performing accurate quality checks using Electronic Vision Control systems.
Managing and reporting job-related administrative data.
Collaborating with the QC Inspector and Production Shift Supervisor to meet production targets.
Addressing and reporting equipment malfunctions to relevant teams.
Reporting defective labels and any shortages to the QC team.
Complying with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
Supporting all departments with a flexible, hands-on approach.
Participating in continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime when required.

👤 Who We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Grade 12 / Matric qualification
At least 3 years of experience in a production environment as a Slitter/Rewinding Operator
Expertise in narrow web, label slitting, and quality control
A proactive and solutions-driven mindset
Willingness to work rotating shifts
