💼 About the Role
Capitec Bank is searching for a dedicated Account Analyst to join their team in Sandton. This role is perfect for energetic, self-motivated individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional service in the business banking sector.
As an Account Analyst, your main responsibility will be supporting the day-to-day operations and maintenance of business portfolios. You’ll serve as a central office-based contact for customer service queries, assisting with administrative tasks, and identifying cross-selling opportunities to add value to clients.

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Customer Service & Support – Be the central point of contact for customer service queries and administrative assistance.
✔️ Portfolio Management – Monitor loan facilities and portfolio parameters daily to ensure compliance with business rules.
✔️ Cross-selling – Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities to enhance client relationships and bank revenue.
✔️ Credit Application – Prepare, motivate, and manage credit applications, ensuring all client documentation is complete and compliant.
✔️ Risk Management – Evaluate and manage business, industry, and financial risks associated with client accounts.
✔️ Reporting & Analysis – Produce accurate reports related to portfolio performance and client satisfaction.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:
-
Diploma in Commerce or Banking

At least 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a business banking environment

Experience in preparing and motivating credit applications

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or Commerce

Knowledge Required:
-
Understanding of business banking practices, credit principles, and financial requirements

Familiarity with FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act)

Knowledge of Capitec’s business systems and processes is advantageous
