📌 Position Overview: Account Analyst – Business Banking

Capitec Bank is looking for a highly motivated and service-oriented Account Analyst to support the day-to-day management of business banking portfolios. This role is ideal for someone passionate about finance and client service, with a knack for uncovering opportunities and supporting credit and portfolio management processes.

The role is primarily office-bound and focuses on providing a central point of contact for clients, supporting administration, responding to service queries, and monitoring daily loan activity against set parameters.

🔎 Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main office-based point of contact for client queries, requests, and administrative support.

• Monitor business loan facilities daily to ensure compliance with lending conditions and credit risk parameters.

• Prepare, review, and motivate credit applications with accuracy and business insight.

• Identify and communicate potential cross-selling opportunities to support client growth and retention.

• Ensure client records and loan documentation are accurately managed and updated.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Capitec’s business banking products, services, and value propositions.

• Support the relationship management team in delivering high-quality service to clients in the business banking segment.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma in Commerce or Banking

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, or Commerce

Experience Required:

• At least 5 years of working experience, with at least 1 year in Business Banking

• Experience in motivating and preparing credit applications

• Solid understanding of credit principles, securities, and balance sheets

• Familiarity with the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) and related compliance matters

• Business banking operations and industry-specific risks

• Credit assessment principles and loan monitoring practices
