🧭 Purpose of the Role

Capitec Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-centric Account Analyst to join its Business Banking team in Menlyn. The successful candidate will act as a central support hub for business clients, ensuring the smooth operation of loan portfolios, the delivery of responsive service, and the maintenance of high standards in risk management and compliance. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a central contact point for customer service and portfolio administration

• Monitor all loan facilities in assigned portfolios daily

• Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities to add value to clients

• Support relationship managers in preparing and motivating credit applications

• Ensure adherence to Business Banking procedures and FICA requirements

• Maintain quality service and support client retention efforts

🎓 Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Experience (Required):

• Minimum 5 years total experience, with at least 1 year in Business Banking

• Proven ability to prepare and motivate Credit Applications

Education (Required):

• Diploma in Commerce or Banking

Education (Preferred):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or Commerce

Required Knowledge:

• General banking practices, procedures, and administration

• Credit principles, securities, and balance sheet analysis

• Business banking operations, industry and financial risk factors

• FICA compliance and client relationship management

Ideal Knowledge:
