As an Account Executive at Capitec, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of business clients and delivering tailored financial solutions that meet their unique needs. Your focus will be on building strong client relationships and helping businesses grow by offering a range of specialized business banking products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
π Client Relationship Management: Retain and grow a portfolio of business clients by understanding their needs and delivering value-adding financial solutions.

π Credit Application Management: Take responsibility for preparing, motivating, and managing credit applications for business clients.

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong passion for delivering excellent customer service. You should be a strategic thinker, able to manage complex business banking portfolios while providing tailored solutions to a diverse client base.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- β Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, with at least 3 years in a business banking environment.
- β Demonstrated experience in managing high-value business clients with complex needs.
- β Proven ability in preparing and motivating credit applications.
- β Strong experience in cost control and sales management.
- β Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Finance (preferred).
- β A good understanding of the local market, economic conditions, and how these affect business banking.
π Educational Requirements
- Minimum: Tertiary qualification in Business Management or Finance.
- Preferred: Bachelorβs Degree in Business Management or Finance.
π‘ Knowledge & Skills
Essential Knowledge:
- β Strong understanding of business economics, financial markets, and industry-specific trends.
- β Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) techniques and tools.
- β Familiarity with credit principles and securities management.
- β Knowledge of legal entities (companies, close corporations, sole proprietorships) and the financial services regulations that govern them.
