💡 About the Role

As an Account Manager: Whole Goods, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with Ingersoll Rand’s customers within your designated region. You will identify opportunities, grow account revenue, and offer tailor-made air solutions to industrial clients. Your efforts will directly influence the business’s success while deepening customer relationships and increasing satisfaction.


🌟 Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales of general line Air products from the Ingersoll Rand portfolio.

  • Execute proactive sales prospecting strategies to capture new business.

  • Generate leads through market scouting, digital search, campaign engagement, and field service interactions.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.

  • Ensure resolution of client concerns with urgency and professionalism.

  • Promote Ingersoll Rand’s core values and service offerings.

  • Provide tailored product and service recommendations to secure long-term service agreements (CARE contracts).

  • Achieve sales revenue, booking, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.


✅ Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric (Grade 12) required.

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or a related field.

  • Valid driver’s license essential.

  • Proven experience in industrial business development, channel sales, or product support within a multinational environment.

  • Computer proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools.

  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
