🏢 About the Role:
Sun Ophthalmics, a division of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, is on a mission to revolutionize eye care by delivering world-class commercial support and concierge-level service to healthcare providers (HCPs). We are seeking an experienced, driven, and ethical Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team and help expand our footprint in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical market.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Develop and sustain strong professional relationships with targeted HCPs in your region.

Educational Outreach: Deliver Medical-Legal-Regulatory (MLR) approved educational content on products, disease states, and treatment gaps.

Territory Management: Lead business planning, strategic execution, and performance monitoring for your assigned geographic territory.

Sales Goals: Achieve call targets, activity metrics, and territory sales goals consistently.

Product Advocacy: Equip healthcare providers with the tools and knowledge they need to support patient education and product usage.

Insight Gathering: Identify and communicate unmet clinical needs and treatment gaps in the therapeutic area.
✅ Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree (science-related fields preferred).

Experience:
-
2+ years in pharmaceutical sales (specialty experience highly desirable).

Experience in ophthalmology or eye care strongly preferred.

Background in commercial managed care or healthcare institutions is an advantage.

Strong communicator with the ability to present scientific content clearly.

Adaptable, ethical, and results-driven with leadership potential.

Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays.
