🚀 Job Summary
As an Account Manager – Ophthalmics, you will be responsible for establishing strong working relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), educating them about our ophthalmic products, and increasing awareness of therapeutic areas through data-driven conversations. This is a field-based role with a high level of independence, targeting market expansion and customer satisfaction in your assigned territory.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with targeted HCPs in the ophthalmology field.

Deliver scientifically accurate, MLR-approved messages regarding product efficacy and disease state information.

Execute local territory business plans to meet and exceed defined targets.

Identify treatment gaps and support HCPs in recognizing and addressing unmet patient needs.

Promote awareness of Sun Ophthalmics’ products and services through educational engagements.

Provide tools to HCPs that enable patient education and therapeutic adherence.

Achieve sales and activity metrics as outlined by leadership.
✅ Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in life sciences or healthcare).

Minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical sales, with specialty experience in eye care or a related field preferred.

In-depth knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system, including commercial managed care and institutional selling.

Proven ability to communicate scientific concepts in a clear and engaging way.

Must be based in or near Greensboro, NC, and willing to travel, including overnight stays as necessary.
