Sun Ophthalmics, a division of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, is looking for a driven, ethical, and results-oriented Account Manager – Ophthalmics to join our Denver South, CO team. This pivotal role offers the chance to be part of a high-performing sales organization known for its exceptional “concierge-level” customer service and commitment to excellence in the specialty pharmaceutical space.
🔍 What You’ll Be Responsible For:
As an Account Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in promoting ophthalmic therapies, growing territory sales, and delivering scientific value to healthcare professionals (HCPs).
✅ Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager
✅ Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with target HCPs
✅ Delivering MLR-approved, education-focused therapeutic messaging
✅ Driving territory business planning and execution
✅ Elevating HCP knowledge of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical efficacy & safety
✅ Providing tools to enable productive HCP-patient conversations
✅ Identifying and addressing treatment gaps in ophthalmology care
✅ Meeting call activity and sales performance targets

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
📘 Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a scientific or medical field)
💊 2+ years of pharmaceutical or specialty sales experience preferred
👁️ Ophthalmology or eye care experience is a big plus
🏥 Understanding of healthcare institutions and managed care systems
🛫 Ability to travel frequently within the region, including overnights
