We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team in Malelane, Mpumalanga. This is a permanent position within our Sugar operating unit. If you’re passionate about numbers, financial excellence, and making a tangible difference, we want to hear from you!

🌟 What You’ll Be Doing:

As the Accountant, you will take full ownership of the financial affairs of TsGro, including everything from monthly reporting to managing audits, financial controls, and asset management. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring financial integrity and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full financial function, including cash flow, revenue, and cost control.

• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports and Annual Financial Statements.

• Manage both internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance (including taxation).

• Oversee debtors and creditors books to maintain healthy financial processes.

• Compile and enhance financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.

• Perform account reconciliations and raise general journal entries.

• Manage inventory, including conducting stock counts and reporting on variances.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Support and guide junior finance staff through delegation and mentorship.

🎓 Minimum Requirements:

• B.Com / B.Compt in Accounting (minimum requirement).

• 5+ years of relevant working experience in a commercial accounting role.

• Strong financial and numerical acumen.

• Experience in IFRS 9, Annual Financial Statement drafting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel is essential.

• SAP experience is advantageous.

• High attention to detail and a self-starting attitude.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
