🎯 Role Overview

The Accountant will manage the full accounting cycle, including invoicing, creditor and debtor management, reconciliations, and month-end reporting up to Trial Balance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large volumes of data while meeting tight deadlines.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

💰 Accounts Management

• Ensure timely issuance of invoices and statements to clients.

• Monitor creditor and debtor aging and maintain accurate account records.

• Follow up on debtor payments and resolve queries efficiently.

📊 Month-End Processing & Reconciliations

• Perform commission and other calculations for month-end processing.

• Process cash book, revenue, expenses, virtual stock, and balance sheet accounts.

• Perform reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts monthly.

• Prepare month-end journals and accounts up to Trial Balance.

📈 Data Management & Reporting

• Work with large volumes of data in Excel to reconcile and process accounts.

• Support financial reporting processes and ensure accuracy and compliance.

📘 Minimum Requirements

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles.

• Formal accounting training or qualification.

• Experience with financial software; Sage preferred.
