TFG is calling finance professionals with a strong background in management accounting and an eye for detail to join our dynamic team as an Accountant – Value Added Services (VAS). In this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering accurate financial insights that directly support decision-making in our diversified retail business. You’ll play a key part in month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting, and driving operational excellence across the Value Added Services division.

✅ Key Responsibilities

🔸 Month-End & Budget Management

• Prepare and consolidate the P&L for the VAS division

• Support forecasting and year-end processes

• Review financial reports and provide insightful commentary

🔸 Financial Planning & Reporting

• Ensure cost accuracy and correct allocation in planning tools

• Prepare and reconcile monthly balance sheet items

• Perform and review chargebacks and cost centre allocations

🔸 Systems & Tools Engagement

• Be the super user for Coupa (Non-Merch Procurement Tool)

• Participate in testing and deployment of new financial systems

• Support the ROOT system development for insurance activities

🔸 Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between business units and Shared Services/CoEs

• Drive effective communication across departments

• Prepare tailored reports and assist divisions with finance queries

🎓 Qualification & Experience

✔ Diploma in Financial or Management Accounting
✔ BCom degree (preferred)
✔ 3–5 years post-qualification experience in finance or accounting
✔ Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
✔ Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines
