Position Overview: Admin Assistant

As an Admin Assistant at iStore Clearwater, you will play a vital role in supporting the Admin/Operations Manager by managing stock control, asset management, and minimizing operational risks. Your efforts will ensure that iStore policies, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed to maintain high levels of efficiency and security.


Key Responsibilities

📦 Stock Control & Asset Management

  • Support the Admin/Operations Manager with managing stock inventory and assets.
  • Ensure efficient stock management to reduce errors and prevent loss.
  • Assist with asset tracking and minimize operational risk through careful monitoring.

📋 Adherence to Policies & SOPs

  • Help maintain compliance with iStore’s policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure all procedures are followed accurately to meet operational standards.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and reports for the management team.

🔄 Operational Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Admin/Operations Manager.
  • Help ensure smooth operations by assisting with planning and coordination tasks.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of schedules and operational timelines.

💬 Effective Communication

  • Clearly communicate tasks, requirements, and updates to the team.
  • Address inquiries from internal teams regarding administrative and operational matters.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure all operational needs are met.

Requirements

🎓 Education

  • Completed Matric (Required).
  • A tertiary qualification would be an advantage.

💼 Experience

  • Minimum 1+ years of admin experience in a retail environment or a related degree.
  • Minimum 2+ years of administrative experience in a different industry.
