Role Overview
As an Admin Assistant Retail at iStore Gateway Durban, you will support the Admin/Operations Manager in ensuring smooth administrative and operational functions. This role involves stock control, asset management, and adherence to company policies, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). We are looking for a proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Administrative Support:
• Assist the Admin/Operations Manager in daily administrative tasks
• Ensure compliance with iStore policies, processes, and SOPs
✔️ Stock Control & Asset Management:
• Monitor and manage stock levels to minimize risk
• Maintain accurate records of assets and inventory
✔️ Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with team members to support operational efficiency
• Communicate effectively across departments
✔️ Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational standards
Minimum Requirements
✔️ Education:
• Completed Matric (Tertiary Qualification is advantageous)
✔️ Experience:
• 1+ years admin experience in a retail environment or a degree
• Alternatively, 2+ years admin experience in another industry
