Job Overview

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development is offering entry-level Administration Clerk opportunities to unemployed South Africans. These roles support court and office operations through clerical, financial, personnel, and supply chain administration, contributing to the effective functioning of the justice system at magistrate offices across provinces.


Key Responsibilities

  • Render general clerical support services

  • Provide supply chain clerical support within the component

  • Provide personnel administration support

  • Provide financial administration support services

  • Maintain accurate records, filing, and documentation

  • Perform various routine administrative duties


Qualifications

Education

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Entry-level role; no prior work experience required

Skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Computer literacy (MS Office)

  • Administrative and organisational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Knowledge of document management and filing systems
