About the Administrative Internship

The Administrative Intern – Commercial Department role provides an excellent opportunity for graduates or final-year students to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic commercial environment. This internship is designed to build strong administrative, coordination, and data management skills while supporting sales and commercial operations.

The intern will play a vital role in ensuring smooth internal processes, accurate documentation, and effective communication between internal departments and external partners.


Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Manage promotional items stored in the storeroom as required

  • Schedule courier services and coordinate deliveries

  • Request and track purchase orders using the SAP Ariba system

  • Schedule meetings and assist with travel and accommodation arrangements

  • File and manage documents on the internal SharePoint system

  • Handle emails and phone correspondence professionally

  • Perform general administrative and ad hoc duties

Commercial Coordination

  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team as required

  • Assist with coordination between commercial, procurement, logistics, and finance departments

Data Management and Reporting

  • Generate management reports and summaries

  • Update CRM systems and ensure data accuracy and integrity

  • Support the Business Intelligence Specialist with PowerBI data entry

  • Assist with compiling and coordinating Stock on Hand reports from distributors

Compliance and Quality

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with quality controls

  • Commercial and sales teams

  • Suppliers and external partners

  • Internal departments including procurement, finance, logistics, and business intelligence


Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (advantageous)

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
