National Renal Care (NRC) is seeking a proactive and personable Administration Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team at our Brakpan facility. As the face of our home, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by supporting reception, administrative processes, basic finance tasks, and internal event coordination.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff—making professionalism, empathy, and strong organizational skills essential.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver efficient reception and front-desk support, ensuring all visitors and residents are warmly welcomed.

  • Uphold infection control protocols, coordinate visitor screening and testing procedures when required.

  • Provide administrative support to the Home Manager and various departments.

  • Handle basic finance and recordkeeping tasks as required.

  • Coordinate with external services such as couriers, healthcare suppliers, and testing providers.

  • Assist in the organization of events like resident birthdays, staff celebrations, and home functions.

  • Work alongside the Activities Coordinator to support resident engagement and wellbeing.

  • Maintain a clean, friendly, and professional environment for residents, staff, and families.


Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administration, reception, or personal assistant role preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Comfortable using basic office software (MS Office, email, printers, etc.).

  • Positive, caring attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality support.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
