Job Overview

Foschini is seeking a results-driven Administration Manager to support efficient store operations at Canal Walk. This role plays a critical part in stock integrity, administration compliance, transactional accuracy, and customer service excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure operational discipline, risk control, and a premium customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager with stock takes and daily store administration

  • Monitor and analyse stock movement, turnover, and performance reports

  • Implement risk management controls to minimise shrinkage and losses

  • Ensure adherence to administrative systems, policies, and reporting standards

  • Extract, interpret, and present store performance data

  • Maintain accurate filing and in-store documentation systems

  • Control cash handling and transactional processes in line with policy

  • Uphold store safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures

  • Process customer transactions using POS systems

  • Deliver professional customer engagement and identify customer needs

  • Promote loyalty and rewards programmes to enhance retention

  • Support visual merchandising and housekeeping standards

  • Contribute to achieving sales targets and store objectives

  • Continuously improve product knowledge and administrative capability


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail administration or store operations

  • Understanding of current fashion retail trends

  • Strong customer service orientation
