Job Overview

Unitrans is currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administration Officer I to join our team in Sasolburg. This temporary position will involve overseeing various office duties, including verifying stock purchase orders, capturing invoices, and assisting with administrative tasks within the warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing & Filing:

    • Daily filing and capturing of invoices in the system.
    • Ensure that invoices are properly authorized before processing.
    • Scan and capture Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
    • Assist with any central cost allocation processing as required.
  • Stock Management:

    • Verify job card stock against the system stock report to ensure accuracy.
    • Manage and update stock purchase orders.
  • Office Support:

    • Assist staff with administrative queries in a timely manner.
    • Maintain an organized and efficient filing system.
    • Handle ad hoc office tasks as required.
  • General Administration:

    • Keep filing systems up to date and well-maintained.
    • Assist with any office-related queries and tasks.

Minimum Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • Degree or Diploma in Administration
  • Experience:

    • 3 years of administration experience, preferably in a warehouse or similar environment.
    • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficient in MS Office, with excellent Excel skills.
  • Personal Attributes:

    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to tasks.
    • Reliable and dependable, able to work under pressure.
    • Willing to learn, innovate, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
