Heineken South Africa is seeking a proactive and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg. This position supports the Area Temple Facilities Manager and broader Special Project Department, ensuring the seamless execution of administrative tasks to help maintain our globally respected standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Area Temple Facilities Manager and team.

  • Prepare professional documents, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.

  • Manage calendar schedules, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.

  • Maintain accurate filing systems and manage confidential documentation.

  • Coordinate departmental correspondence, data collection, and mail distribution.

  • Respond to routine inquiries and screen telephone calls.

  • Assist in budgeting and financial tracking processes.

  • Handle operational logistics related to personnel, purchasing, and facilities.

  • Conduct research and analysis to support department goals and reporting.

  • Oversee onboarding and orientation for new administrative hires.

  • Liaise across departments to resolve queries and enhance workflow efficiency.


Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Matric (Grade 12) plus a minimum of two years of post-secondary education or training.

  • Experience: At least 6 years of administrative experience, including:

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    • Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.

    • Excellent communication abilities in both written and verbal formats.

  • Other:

    • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

    • Completion of Microsoft Word (Experienced), Excel (Basic), and PowerPoint (Essentials) assessments.
