🌟 Role Overview

The Administrative Clerk (Banking and Sales Audit) plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate processing, sorting, and filing of banking documentation received from stores nationwide. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet daily deadlines, and strict adherence to internal procedures and controls.

This role is well suited to a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a structured finance environment and can work independently while maintaining high work standards.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

Banking Documentation & Filing

  • Sort and file all banking documents received from stores in the required sequence

  • Ensure correct indexing and re-indexing of banking paperwork on the OnBase filing system

  • Identify and correct errors in banking documentation received incorrectly

Accuracy, Compliance & Performance

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

  • Meet daily performance targets and set turnaround times

  • Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and finance controls

Administrative Support

  • Manage and track documentation to ensure complete audit trails

  • Maintain organised records for easy retrieval and compliance purposes

  • Communicate clearly with relevant stakeholders regarding documentation issues

Education & Experience

  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • General administrative or finance-related experience (advantageous)

Job-Related Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Computer literacy, including MS Outlook

  • Effective time management and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong discipline in following rules, procedures, and deadlines
