π About the Opportunity
Alexander Forbes is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrator to join their Health Consulting team in Sandton. This is a vital role supporting disability fund administration and ensuring quality service delivery to both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, specifically retirement fund administration, and a passion for delivering excellent client service.
π§Ύ Key Responsibilities
π Disability Fund Administration

Manage disability claims within your allocated portfolio.

Compile and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for clients.

Liaise effectively with insurers, clients, and consultants.

Configure and maintain the Line of Business system.
π Fund Management & Operations
-
Perform all tasks accurately and within defined service levels.

Uphold Alexander Forbesβ professional image by delivering prompt and courteous service.

Source and analyze necessary documents for fund installation or conversion.

Maintain workflows and track progress against key deadlines.
π Stakeholder & Client Relations
-
Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients and internal teams.

Handle queries professionally, ensuring issues are resolved without escalation.

Prepare for and participate in internal and external meetings, summarizing key actions.
π Quality Assurance & Compliance
-
Adhere to relevant legislation, SLAs, and SLS.
-
Maintain a zero-error standard and ensure the highest quality outputs.
-
Attend training, complete assessments, and stay up to date with new regulations including TCF (Treating Customers Fairly), POPIA, and FCC (Financial Crime Compliance).
π Financial & Reporting

Minimize operational expenses and eliminate errors and omissions (E&O).

Deliver all reports on time and ensure accuracy and completeness.
β Minimum Requirements

Educational: National Senior Certificate (Matric)

Experience: 2β3 yearsβ experience in Employee Benefits β Retirement Fund Administration
