This is a vital role supporting disability fund administration and ensuring quality service delivery to both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, specifically retirement fund administration, and a passion for delivering excellent client service.


🧾 Key Responsibilities

πŸ“Œ Disability Fund Administration

  • Manage disability claims within your allocated portfolio.

  • Compile and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for clients.

  • Liaise effectively with insurers, clients, and consultants.

  • Configure and maintain the Line of Business system.

πŸ“Œ Fund Management & Operations

  • Perform all tasks accurately and within defined service levels.

  • Uphold Alexander Forbes’ professional image by delivering prompt and courteous service.

  • Source and analyze necessary documents for fund installation or conversion.

  • Maintain workflows and track progress against key deadlines.

πŸ“Œ Stakeholder & Client Relations

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients and internal teams.

  • Handle queries professionally, ensuring issues are resolved without escalation.

  • Prepare for and participate in internal and external meetings, summarizing key actions.

  • Adhere to relevant legislation, SLAs, and SLS.

  • Attend training, complete assessments, and stay up to date with new regulations including TCF (Treating Customers Fairly), POPIA, and FCC (Financial Crime Compliance).

  • Minimize operational expenses and eliminate errors and omissions (E&O).

  • Educational: National Senior Certificate (Matric)

  • Experience: 2–3 years’ experience in Employee Benefits – Retirement Fund Administration
