Motus Aftermarket Parts, a leading automotive parts supplier, is looking for a detail-oriented and service-driven Administrator/Cashier to join our Midas Witbank branch. If you’re passionate about finance, customer service, and administrative support, this opportunity is tailor-made for you!
About the Role
As an Administrator/Cashier, you will be responsible for processing payments, reconciling transactions, and supporting daily finance and admin operations within the branch. You’ll serve as the critical point of contact for customers making payments and provide backend support to ensure smooth financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Handling & Receipting

Accept and process customer payments for products and services.

Accurately issue receipts and verify cash totals against sales transactions.

Maintain clear records of all financial transactions for reporting and auditing.
Finance & Administration Support
-
Assist with verifying and processing creditors’ documents and payments.
-
Ensure remittance advices are accurate and matched with corresponding invoices.
-
Track, reconcile, and follow up on invoices, statements, and journal entries.
-
Manage branch-specific suppliers and handle related queries or discrepancies.
-
Process sundry payments and maintain updated supplier data.
Additional Branch Support Duties
-
Maintain organized filing systems for the branch.

Oversee Petty Cash, float management, and daily cash deposits.

Prepare daily summaries and provide switchboard and cashier relief when needed.
Required Qualifications and Experience
-
Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
-
Finance/Administration tertiary qualification – Preferred
-
2–3 years’ experience in bookkeeping and administrative functions – Essential
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
-
Knowledge of financial/accounting principles
-
Prior experience in creditors’ function – Advantageous
