Job Purpose
The Planned Maintenance Administrator plays a critical role in supporting planned maintenance (PM) activities by ensuring the accurate capture, validation, and reporting of maintenance data. This role supports asset management effectiveness by enabling high-quality maintenance planning, backlog control, and reporting within the operation.
Key Responsibilities

Capture and maintain accurate planned maintenance data for key equipment

Generate maintenance work orders timeously for batch processing

Collect, verify, and capture work order feedback upon completion

Validate maintenance data and identify discrepancies for correction

Ensure work orders align with approved maintenance plans and schedules
-
Track maintenance backlogs and ensure timely closure
-
Raise and manage requisitions for purchasing related to maintenance activities

Compile, analyse, and update maintenance and performance reports

Maintain data integrity across systems to support asset reliability and planning decisions
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science, or
-
Technical N3 qualification (certificate must be attached)

Advanced computer literacy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to work accurately with large volumes of data
Experience and Technical Skills
-
Previous office or administrative experience (advantageous)

Working knowledge of SAP / AOP systems (advantageous)

Strong attention to detail and data validation skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured environment
