Key Performance Areas:
Orchard Maintenance:

Your responsibilities will extend to participating in breeding nursery and orchard practices, involving pollinations, harvesting, planting seeds, and caring for resulting seedlings.
Evaluation Practices:
Your keen eye for detail will be put to use in conducting evaluation practices. This includes sampling fruits for evaluation and screening materials for resistance, contributing to the development of resilient and high-yielding crops.
Data Capturing and Analysis:

Tool and Equipment Usage:

Requirements:

BSc in Plant Breeding/Genetics/Horticulture/Agri-economics:
A solid educational foundation is essential, providing the necessary theoretical knowledge to excel in plant breeding and evaluation.
Working Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrate a working knowledge of horticultural practices, tree crop procedures, or genetics and plant breeding. Prior experience in plant breeding or horticulture is preferable.
