The Agronomy Intern will support Syngentaโ€™s agronomic initiatives by contributing to crop health analysis, soil science understanding, and field-level insights. This role plays a key part in optimising agricultural solutions through applied agronomy, data processing, and the development of training and technical materials for internal and external stakeholders.

This internship programme is designed to provide structured exposure to professional agronomy practices. The intern will:

  • Support agronomic research and field-level data collection

  • Assist with analysis of crop health, soil conditions, and pest pressures

  • Contribute to data processing and reporting using analytical tools

  • Assist in the development of agronomic training and technical materials

  • Support product positioning through agronomic insights

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support farmer-focused solutions

  • Assist with general agronomy-related administrative and project tasks

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Agronomy (B.Sc. Agric) or equivalent qualification

  • Strong academic performance with a minimum of 70% in major subjects

  • Demonstrated interest or exposure to agriculture and crop science

  • Understanding of crop cycles, soil science, and pest/disease management

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Microsoft Excel
