🎯 Role Purpose

The Agronomy Intern will support Syngenta’s agronomic initiatives by contributing to crop health analysis, soil science understanding, and field-level insights. This role plays a key part in optimising agricultural solutions through applied agronomy, data processing, and the development of training and technical materials for internal and external stakeholders.

🎓 Programme Objectives

This internship programme is designed to provide structured exposure to professional agronomy practices. The intern will:

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Support agronomic research and field-level data collection

• Assist with analysis of crop health, soil conditions, and pest pressures

• Contribute to data processing and reporting using analytical tools

• Assist in the development of agronomic training and technical materials

• Support product positioning through agronomic insights

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support farmer-focused solutions

• Assist with general agronomy-related administrative and project tasks

🎓 Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy (B.Sc. Agric) or equivalent qualification

• Strong academic performance with a minimum of 70% in major subjects

• Demonstrated interest or exposure to agriculture and crop science

• Understanding of crop cycles, soil science, and pest/disease management

• Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Microsoft Excel
