Job Overview

ACSA is seeking an experienced Airport IT Manager to lead IT service delivery at an airport level. The role focuses on IT service desk management, business relationship management, incident resolution, and technology enablement.

The successful candidate will act as a strategic interface between IT and business stakeholders while ensuring SLA and compliance adherence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and integrity of all IT release and service documentation.

  • Create and manage monthly supplier requisitions.

  • Monitor and improve average incident resolution times.

  • Develop and submit regular reports on service desk performance.

  • Identify non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Resolve internal and external audit findings.

  • Assist in managing and overseeing Service Desk operations.

  • Develop IT communiqués for approval prior to distribution.

  • Monitor team performance to ensure SLAs and OLAs are consistently met.

  • Act as an escalation point for clients on complex or unresolved IT issues.

  • Lead planning and execution of technology initiatives aligned to business objectives.

  • Capture business requirements and translate them into high-level IT solutions.

  • Manage demand processes for new and enhanced IT services.

  • Provide technical and professional support to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure accuracy of business process models and IT component mappings.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (NQF Level 7 – 360 credits).

  • ITIL Certification in Incident Management (essential).

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years’ operational experience in Information Technology.

  • Minimum 2 years’ management experience in IT or Incident Management.

Skills

  • Strong customer orientation and service delivery focus.

  • IT architecture and business analysis capability.

  • Vendor and stakeholder management expertise.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to operate in a high-availability, mission-critical environment.
