Job Description

Your Role:
Implement, monitor, and embed the organizational Combined Assurance strategy and roadmap to enhance corporate governance, mitigate risks, and minimize operational disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze data using preset tools and methods while working independently.

Insights and Reporting:

  • Prepare and contribute to data analytics reports.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG):

  • Follow ESG policies and procedures to identify and mitigate risks in the workplace, ensuring safe working methods and escalating serious issues when necessary.

Sustainability:

  • Enforce sustainability practices and monitor adherence, addressing unsustainable behavior appropriately.

Regulatory and Compliance Management:

  • Investigate incidents using regulatory and compliance processes, solving immediate issues and advising on complex challenges.

Audit Compliance:

  • Deliver audit assignments, develop detailed plans, report findings, and coordinate corrective actions with auditees.

Information & Business Advice:

  • Resolve queries from customers or suppliers regarding complex processes and related policies.

Document Preparation:

  • Prepare detailed documents and reports using various software applications.

Business Requirements Identification:

  • Support the collection and analysis of business requirements through interviews, document reviews, and workflow analysis.

Internal Communications:

  • Assist colleagues to effectively utilize internal communication systems.

Personal Capability Building:

  • Engage in training, coaching, and continuous professional development to enhance personal and organizational performance.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience (Essential)

  • Degree: In a related field
  • Experience: 3–5 years in risk management, quality assurance, and compliance within the insurance industry

The Recruitment Process

  1. TA Interview:

    • A discussion with our Talent Acquisition Team about our business, culture, values, and the role, as well as getting to know you and your career aspirations.
  2. Panel Interview:

    • Meet with two members of the Senior Leadership Team and one member of the HC Leadership Team.
  3. Technical & Psychometric Assessments:

    • Depending on the role, assessments may be conducted concurrently with other evaluations.
  4. Final Feedback:

    • Receive conclusive feedback post-interview process.

Education

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Risk Management (NQF Level 5 or higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate, or equivalent)
