About the Role
As an Analyst in Strategic Projects and Business Optimisation, you will be responsible for:
- Providing executive-level support to Capitec’s business leaders.
- Developing business strategies and innovative solutions to optimize business processes.
- Identifying and analyzing potential business efficiency opportunities.
- Engaging with key stakeholders, building strong relationships to facilitate collaboration and growth.
This is a consulting-style role, where you’ll be working directly with Capitec’s executive team. You’ll be involved in important business initiatives like:
- Designing and implementing incentive schemes for Business Bank staff.
- Writing strategic documents and business plans for both new and existing projects.
- Constructing financial models to assess the viability of proposed ideas.
- Conducting due diligence audits to support credit decision-making.
- Performing company valuations, competitor analysis, and property valuations when needed.
- Attending Business Bank executive committee (exco) meetings to stay aligned with the bank’s strategic direction.

Our Ideal Candidate
✔ Qualifications:
- Honours degree in a relevant field.
- If you are a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), you should have 2 years of post-article experience, ideally from big 4 audit firms, banks, or large listed organizations.
✔ Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in management consulting.
- Proven experience in developing new business cases, concepts, or ideas.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
