Freelance Form F Assessor – Foster Care (Home-Based)

Are you a qualified Social Worker with a passion for helping vulnerable children and families? The National Fostering Group, the UK’s largest independent fostering agency, is looking for experienced Freelance Form F Assessors to carry out Form F assessments for foster carers. This is a home-based position with flexible working hours, offering an excellent opportunity for social workers to work independently while making a significant impact in the fostering sector.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct Form F Assessments: Assess potential foster carers and provide comprehensive reports for fostering applications.
✔ Support Foster Carer Applications: Guide applicants through the foster care process, offering support and ensuring they meet the required standards.
✔ Independent Working: Manage your own schedule, ensuring timely completion of assessments within given deadlines.
✔ Commitment to Quality: Maintain high standards and ensure the best placements for children and young people.
Essential Criteria:
✔ Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent)
✔ Current Registration with the relevant Social Work regulatory council (e.g., Social Work England/Wales, NISCC, SSSC)
✔ Experience in Form F Assessments: Proven ability to conduct thorough assessments for fostering applications.
✔ Ability to Work Independently: Manage your own workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
✔ Passionate about Fostering: Strong commitment to supporting vulnerable children and families.
