Role Overview:
Sasol is offering a unique Graduate Trainee opportunity for those looking to develop a career in Learning Assurance, Vendor Management, and B-BBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) monitoring. As a Graduate Trainee II, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to manage non-technical learnerships, support vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with all B-BBEE requirements. Key Responsibilities:
📊 B-BBEE Monitoring & Skills Development
- Conduct B-BBEE quarterly audits and skills development spend audits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans for skills development and empowerment initiatives.
- Collaborate with service providers to ensure compliance with Skills Development regulations and SETAs (Sector Education and Training Authorities).
📅 Vendor & Contract Management
- Engage with service providers to monitor performance and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
- Support contract management by evaluating vendor performance and addressing any issues.
- Coordinate and track monthly engagements with internal and external stakeholders.
📚 Learnership Management
- Manage non-technical learnerships, including registration, learner compliance, and performance monitoring.
- Provide monthly reports on the progress and performance of learnership service providers.
- Ensure that all employees meet set goals and objectives while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
💡 Administration & Reporting
- Oversee the administrative functions associated with learnership and vendor management.
- Prepare regular performance reports and feedback for service providers.
- Maintain thorough documentation and records for compliance purposes.
Minimum Requirements:
✅ Education:
- Honours degree in Economics or a relevant field.
- Proven academic background with a strong foundation in Skills Development, Vendor Management, and Contract Management.
✅ Experience:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in B-BBEE Skills Management, Vendor Management, Contract Management, and Supply Chain Management.
✅ Skills:
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong team leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation delivery, and empathy.
- Strong planning, creativity, and goal-setting techniques.
- Ability to work with emotional intelligence and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
