- Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12/NQF level 4
- A Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Sciences, or Energy Studies (NQF level 7)
- Must be a resident of the City of Johannesburg
- Must have never participated in an internship programme before
Primary Function:
Facilitate and coordinate climate change initiatives within the City of Johannesburg, including developing policies, strategies, and plans to ensure the implementation of climate change measures.
Key Performance Areas:
- Administration and record-keeping
- Support the development of the City’s Climate Action Tracking tools
- Conduct site visits, compile findings and recommendations into reports, and share them with relevant stakeholders

- Computer literacy, including MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good communication skills
- Project management skills
- Coordination skills
- Report writing
