We are actively seeking a Mining Trainer to join our dynamic team at the Mogalakwena Complex in Mokopane. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and safety procedures to contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- 🛠 Deliver engaging training to employees across various departments and job functions using adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- 🧑🏫 Create customized training content that adapts to diverse learning styles, ensuring comprehensive understanding and retention.
- 💬 Facilitate workshops and simulations using techniques like role-plays, case studies, and hands-on exercises to boost employee engagement and participation.
- ⚙️ Serve as a subject matter expert in areas like safety procedures, technical skills, and compliance requirements.
- 📊 Administer assessments to evaluate the proficiency levels of participants, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
- 📅 Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, room setup, and equipment preparation.
- 📝 Maintain accurate records of training attendance and evaluation results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 🎓 Grade 12 with an OD-ETDP NQF4 certification.
- 📜 Assessor Certificate and Registered Technical Discipline Specific qualifications are required.
- 🧑🏫 1-3 years of relevant experience in a training environment or technical discipline.
- 💻 Proficient in instructional design, adult learning theories, and training methodologies.
- 🔧 Familiar with safety regulations, equipment operation, and compliance within the mining industry.
- 🎤 Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively convey training material.
- 🧑🤝🧑 Interpersonal skills to engage with diverse learners and create an inclusive training environment.
- 🚗 Valid EB/Code 08 driver’s license and medical certificate of fitness.
